The Solomon Project was founded by Attorney Brian K. Major, a dedicated lawyer who has spent the last 12 years working closely alongside the academic system as general counsel and Chief Negotiator, protecting the rights of students, parents, faculty, and administration with diligence and integrity. These values are at the core of our vision and are applied to each stage of the process, start to finish.

Our Outlook

Meet Your Advocate

Meet Your Advocate

At the Solomon Project, we value knowledge as a pillar of security, confidence, and success. In today’s culture, students are faced with unprecedented obstacles to accessing this  knowledge. Parents are confronted by the challenge of resolving these obstacles with a modern solution. We are that solution.

School policies have become more complicated in our communities,

presenting complex problems for parents and faculty looking to resolve the situation on their own. These policies may not serve the best interests of you or your child. When it comes to addressing these matters, your institution has access to a team of experts whose sole purpose is to resolve these types of issues, and now you can too. We understand that parenting is a full time job. You need an advocate that has the time, experience, and resources to allow you to return to the job that you do best, while we do what we do best. A professional can be the difference between a favorable solution and long term regret.

Our Approach to Defending Your Rights

We embrace a “people-first” culture that is rooted in doing the right thing, above all else. We make it a priority to understand your concerns and will tirelessly work to address them. Our strategy is one that emphasizes cooperation rather than confrontation, because we understand the value of relationships. We realize that oftentimes, school can be a home away from home for your child, and we want to work toward a solution that minimizes the long term consequences for you or your student. Though it may not seem this way, the school is not your enemy. The ultimate goal is to make the policies and laws work for you. In our experience, a mediation approach that relies on communication, as opposed to conflict, produces the most favorable results.
